About

Anita Harris Art Pottery is the creation of Anita Harris, Samantha Johnson and Peter Harris. Their pieces are consistantly dynamic in design and innovation and as a result of being a fantastic combination of finely tuned skill and technique continue to make a real impact on the world of collectable ceramics.

Anita Harris was head designer at Poole Pottery for ten years before taking up a position at Moorcroft to design for Cobridge Stoneware and Black Ryden. Some of Anita's designs at Poole Pottery are still best selling designs today and many collectors have followed Anita from Poole. After three years at Cobridge Stoneware sadly it had to close and Anita set up the Anita Harris Studio with Larry Ewin. The Studio is now known as Anita Harris Art Pottery and is no longer associated with Larry Ewin.

Samantha Johnson studied at Wolverhampton University where she obtained her degree in ceramics and 3D design. She was a leading designer at Cobridge Stoneware and also designed for Moorcroft. When Cobridge closed she joined Anita in 2006 where her first design Coming Home was and still is a best seller today.

Peter Harris trained at Salisbury college of Art and also at Sarum metal craft. He also spent time training with with renowned Glass Maker William Walker. Today his expertise lies in glazing and air brushing techniques. Abstract art plays a large part in his pieces and collectos are already linning up to purchase his work.

Anita Harris products are available from reputable dealers, auction houses and online auctions.
